When you write a text e.g. a email and wish to tag some parts as english and the other as german you need to browse true the complete list of avaliable languages. This isn´t very user friendly.
 
The best way I think is to allow the user via setup to select the languages which he really need, instead of showing all possible options.

Why not show a list of dictionaries that actually is installed?
