Hi
We faced with the following problem: we need ID in the ID Vault, but we have R7 clients. (we are redeploying - not upgrading - Notes clients and IDs are soted in different locations by users ) So, if we could colletc all IDs from users and import them into the ID Vault it would help during deployment.
This means an import function ,which can be used by the user or an admin to put the ID into the ID Vault.

I don't quite understand why you wanted this considering that the client is still R7. Even if those ID can be uploaded, client could not use it until they are upgraded. Once those clients are upgraded and policy are set, ID should automatically be uploaded into the vault anyway.

During the initial setup of the R8 client, it is easier to use the ID Vault then asking the user to browse for it or store IDs on network drives (unattended setup with ConfigFile).
