Allow to hide view columns by a few mouse clicks

The Notes client allows to resize and move columns around by manipulating  the column header.  
It would be nice that it would also be possible to hide columns this way rather that going via View> Customize this view. 
e.g. Right click on column header and then select "Hide column"

I understand the idea, but there so many other attributes that you would like to set faster than by using the properties window.
