With Lotus Notes 8 came the change in key strokes to lock your screen. However, the blank screen functionality that was present with Notes 7 and previous went away. So if users are not careful about what is visible when they lock the screen information can still be read. Please bring back the blank screen functionality.

Screen blanking should be handled by the OS, not by individual applications. In Windows just push Windows+L to lock the console.
