Create Computed Text with the same text style as the current paragraph

I have NEVER been able to understand why, when you create a Computed Text element in Designer it is created in black, Default Sans, 10pt font entirely regardless of the font size, style and colour you are currently working in.  I would very much like to see this changed so that it picks up the colour, size and font-face of the paragraph where the cursor is.
