Problem :
IBM's globally connected work atmosphere often points to the lack of language character encoding feature in Lotus Notes.
IBMers from other countries forward mails that have been written in their native language. Hence, the emails sent would not be in a readable format for us. So, we would either have to ask the users to resend in English or we need to look for language translator outside of Lotus Notes.
Solution :
Have an in-built char encoding or language translator in Notes itself ! By having this feature, the extra step of reverting back and awaiting response would be skipped - with emails directly appearing in the language, set by the receiver in Lotus Notes |
