Be able to define a default font family to be used across the application. Currently when you create a new form you have to either set the font family. You have to do the same with outlines, view columns, pages, etc. It would be nice to be able to define a default font family when you create a new application. This probably goes along the same lines as the "Default lotusscript code templating"
I'm sure there are other defaults that could be defined, just can't think of any right now.

I'd much rather like to be able to control the design of my applications using CSS (everywhere, not just in forms and pages). Current CSS support in the client is limited but the new Java design elements in Notes 8 look promising. If only we could use them in our custom apps...

I would not limit it to the font settings. What about pointsize, color and many other attribute across the application?

You can do a lot of this with the Ytria tools at the moment, but I agree it would be a nice thing to have out of the box.

Setting a default font family would not be worth it, from my point of view. It might even encourage newbies to adopt a worst practice, at least for web development. It would be no good without a way to do bulk changes to existing applications. Apart from the fact, that 3rd party tools might already do that, better support for CSS in the client would be much more helpful. I'm with Jens, here.
