In previous versions of Notes, when I was applying a new database template I would click the status bar at the bottom of the Notes client and watch to make sure everything was happening as expected. But in Notes 8 I am finding that when I do the same the window that pops up is a static snapshot of the Status bar history rather than a dynamic list of things happening at the moment. It would be great to get this functionality back. |

Talk about a step backwards. This feature is essential when doing design refreshes/replaces.

Yes, and while we're at it, can the number of lines that it shows be expanded?

Yeah, this is sorely needed. It's the only way I can track what design elements are being updated on a design replace -- now that they aren't recorded to the log.nsf. Which I thought was another step backwards from (a much older version of Notes :P).
