With our company being spread across all 4 corners of the world and the whole eco-friendly mentality that is being pushed out, conference calls are fast becoming the norm for us.
The only problem is...
Chair books the meeting and invites people from 6 different locations
All 6 invitees accept the meeting
The only room booking is made by the chair for their own use
The other 5 people all need to book a room in their own local site for the same time as the meeting is book for
At the moment they have to create a seperate booking which they are notified as being a clash of events
Can there be a solution where invitees can have a "local reservations" section in the original meeting invite.
For example could the UK invitee go into the original meeting invite (sent by a person in Spain) and reserve a room and conference phone for themselves in the UK office. If other UK people could see this then they could share the room and resource as well. The invitees in Holland could also go into the original invite and book a room for themselves.
Essentially this would be some kind of "local reservation" section in an invite where invitees can also make reservations that apply to them for that meeting.
