Better visibility of selected bookmarks/design elements

I simply would like to see a much higher contrast between the selected and non-selected Recent Database bookmarks in the designer client. The shades of grey being used mean it can be very difficult at times to see which is the current bookmark. The icons don't help as I tend to have copies of templates which have the same icon and only a version number difference in the title.

I'd also like to be able to see which class of design element is currently selected in the list. The blue text is not enough of a contrast from the black to be able to do this.

In my screenshot it is the forms class of the middle bookmark that is current. Am I just missing a trick?

I'm not getting any younger you know! I remember when all this were DOS, Internet! We had to make do with Prestel etc etc etc.

seeing as how the database navigation UI is completely different in DDE, not going to promote. there are screenshots of the new DDE and how the db navigation handles the elements. very different

Since 8.5 isn't available yet (there isn't even a public beta), I'm still going to promote this. If just to point out, that the gold release should not revert to something similar as we have in the current product.
