If you use different IDs for your admin und "normal" work, it would be great if you could start two clients, one with the admin, one with the normal ID.
This was (and is) possible with the basic client via starting "nlnotes.exe =Path/To/notes.ini". I want that also in the eclipse client. It is currently possible to start a eclipse client and then the nlnotes one, but clicks on the "replication" icon go to the wrong client and I also suspect, that the basic client will be gone someday... |

We have separate test and production environments and it's a real pain to hop between them.

Maybe using Eclipse perspectives? Would be really nice to be able to have only one client running with different perspectives where each one could use a different ID and have its own names etc. Would make it possible to have several perspectives; one for each customer.

It should be possible to do so already. You have to install the cliet a second time and you have to fiddle with the registry settings and update the start-icon, but it can be done.

The old style was calling the programm again with different "=c:\Path\to\notes.ini" arguments. This only works if you use the 'nlnotes.exe' instead of notes.exe. notes.ee first checks if there is a running instance of notes.exe and just passes controll to that. So nowadays, I can't start (standard) Notes and therefor the eclipse designer with that.

On Linux I can have Domino administrator running in Wine and have notes client running nativly.
I wish we had a designer on Linux since then I would have everything in one place.
