It would be nice to have a possibility to clear the cache.ndk file from inside the notes client, it could be through the preferences menu.
Every Notes Admin an every Notes Designer knows the daly problems with cache.ndk, see also

Cache.ndk (.dsk) is a relict of Yesteryear (computers stone age) as RAM was short and expensive.
So abolish using cache.ndk in all client moduls.
It would be nice if there were a desktop poilcy that woiuld perform regular file maintenace on Lotus Notes databases. I have been using it since version 4.6.5 and we have many users who have been through 3 -4 upgrades. Unless I touch their workstation and run manual compacts, fixups ...
I don't have any idea of the percentage of users that have a PC compared to a MAC, but in our organization it is like 99.5 % PC and .5 % MAC. So, when we get issues with a MAC user it is difficult to troubleshoot the issue and searching ...
