Some admins want to check the performance of their Traveler system before they release it.
It would be nice if there is a build-in scenario for Traveler that we can use in Server.load or from any stress tools.
In the invitation, the default buttons are same as in a normal mail. To accept or decline you should go to the menu.
i suggest to change it "accept and decline" should be the default, "reply, folder, next, previuos" should go to the menu. Users very ...
Most of mobile apps are refreshing data by pulling down the list. Implement this in Traveler also, because users are looking for this functions.
By default, the Traveler client will only download attachments lower than 500k.
All bigger attachments will have to be downloaded manually, one by one (if multiple exist).
Even after clicking the "Download" button for truncated mails, the attachments aren't downloaded until you select them one by one.
With iOS7 out now, there is an option to unlock your device using the fingerprint ID system (known at Apple as Touch ID security). I would like IBM to support Touch ID as a supported when setting up a Traveler policy under Security Settings\Apple\Require device password.
This is not fully my idea, but some of our customers rwere equested these.
IBM developed clients (like android) for all platforms. They would like to have some more control and security over the built-in clients, eg:
- client certificate based authentication
- container like worikg:
To provide more security Traveler should be able to use personal or device certificate for authentication (without VPN client). As the browser can use a certificate copied to the device, Traveler should be able also. In the Traveler setting there should be a preference where the user ...
BlackBerry PlayBook from version of OS 2.0 has native PIM applications but is no a way to synchronize E-mail, Calendar, To Do and Contacts with user mailbox on Lotus Domino server. Lotus Traveler for BlackBerry PlayBook would solve the problem.
Sometimes it would be good to have the ability to manage the OOO profile from your mobile. What do You think?
I really love the new Traveler widgets in 8.5.3 for Android, they're a cool improvement so I have an overview over e-mails and my calendar right from the homescreen. I find the sizing of the widgets unfortunate, however, 4x1 is too small for me and 3x3 lopsides my homescreen. I would love ...
In a meeting body, you can click to send an email to any of the other invitees. However, the Chair's name is unclickable. Add the option to make this imporant address accessible to an attendee, else, add an option to Request Info as you can in the Lotus Notes calendar ...
I would like to see traveler allow access to internal domino resources similar to how BES MDS works. I would like to be able to hit internally facing Domino websites(xPages), without having to open up those pages to the outside world.
Add support for Notes Tasks. Several 3rd party options now: NotesF1, ITANA, etc... Would like to see native support.
Traveler for Symbian lacks an important feature. I don't know if others have it, since I didn't use them yet.
When you use Traveler client in scheduled sync. mode, your updates would be synchronized instantly.
I mean when you send a message, read or delete an incoming mail ...
I am still surprised that when all other mail types on Nokia support MIME formatted mail, Traveler mail is still plain text. When I open such mails I am crying to have my old Blackberry back... Is it so difficult to have properly formatted mail especially when other Nokia mail ...
Just like most organizations we started with Blackberry devices on BES servers. These servers have tables for both user and device information. When IBM came out with Traveler it was my understanding that it was supposed to be comprable to the BES servers with the exception of supporting Andoid devices.
Even on LS11 all IBMlers claimed that there will be no support for WP7 (only WM) a lot of users would benefit from it if Traveler would support WP7.
The slogan at Lotusphere 2011 was: Be social. Do business.
In my view it is not very social to ...
On most Android based phones you can create widgets for applications. Before Traveler was able to work with android devices we were using Nitro Desk Touchdown to sync with Traveler. Touchdown had a Calendar widget that would allow the user to see all of there appointments without having to open ...
Currently traveler lack a blackberry client, thus hindering their implementation on places where blackberry population is abundant. I understand that BES Express can be used to connect those "non-enterprise" blackberry to Domino mail server but deploying another BES server in places where there already is a traveler server means paying ...
Until know there is no way to built a cluster of traveler servers so that they can do automatic fail over upon themselves when one of them had a problem. Please add this feature so that traveler can be a trully scalable solution.
I even understand if clustering support ...
