24 Oct 2014 | Yuhko Nakayama13 | Provide a script to benchmark Notes Traveler servers I strongly approve of this idea. Many customers including my customer want to check the performance of their Traveler system. |
01 Oct 2014 | Martin Pistora22 | Add reply without history to Traveler mail Completed in Version 9.0.1.2: -- Reply without history/attachments |
22 Jul 2014 | Bill Malchisky12192 | Propose to download attachments before forwarding mail (Android) ... and consuming cellular data needlessly. Would like it with Reply (with attachments) as well. |
22 Jul 2014 | Bill Malchisky12192 | Traveler refresh by pull down I would change the status of this to Resolved. This capability is now in the 9.0.1.1 Android client. |
18 Jun 2014 | Stephen Bailey1802 | user rename and traveler Completely agree with this. I've experienced the same issues. |
04 Jun 2014 | Jeremiah Benjamin804 | Out of Office Status changed to Withdrawn |
04 Jun 2014 | Jeremiah Benjamin804 | Out of Office Oops, I should've withdrawn this after IBM added OOO to their Traveler app! We actually ended up going with the Extracomm OOO because it allows junior admins to set OOO for end-users easily as well. They also recently added a Notes widget so users can lookup OOO status for other users...pretty cool. I also saw the iOS 8 includes OOO via ActiveSync natively. Pretty simplistic but it should do the job, assuming Traveler will support it by the time iOS 8 launches. Withdrawing. |
15 Mar 2014 | Stefaan De Wilde13 | Make the Traveler data easily exportable in HA mode Yes this would come in very handy. An easy way to obtain a couple statistics. How many users/devices ? Which type ? ... |
17 Jan 2014 | Mathieu Pape8090 | Propose to download attachments before forwarding mail (Android) Or we could even imagine that the attachments would be taken directly from the server when going through the router which would prevent them from being downloaded (slowly) to the device first. |
29 Oct 2013 | Mark Demicoli10736 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing OK it's getting cosey in here. Changed vote to +1 in case this database is dug up in 1000 years :) |
29 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing @Bill.. Ok. I agree. Mark is wrong for not promoting this idea. 8-) |
16 Oct 2013 | Bill Malchisky12192 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing Fair enough, Craig. There is a subtle difference between the two. So, why not ask Mark about his demotion too? Quid pro quo. :) |
15 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing wow. I'm being too serious, of course. 8-) |
15 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing COBOL is still around, but the systems running it have evolved and added features. Since Domino is (was?) an all-in-one system, not having it evolve and add features has a far greater impact. |
15 Oct 2013 | Mark Demicoli10736 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing I don't know Craig, as long as they don't make N/D illegal I think it will "carry on like Cobol" ;] |
15 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing To elaborate a bit... by "on lifesupport" I mean "we'll keep it going but won't add obvious new features like in the past" Examples: TLS 3.0 support across the board (not just hacked in for HTTP via a kludgy* add-in). Even simple things that should be pretty trivial to add like cardDAV and calDav (since all the underlying pieces are in place). *look into it... this is literally the definition of kludge: { Link } kludge informal noun 1. an ill-assorted collection of parts assembled to fulfill a particular purpose. |
15 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing @Mark/Bill. It's turned out to be pretty simple. Every day, you just repeat "yes, this project'd be easier in Notes/Domino, but N/D is on lifesupport and THAT product will feed your kids in a few years." |
15 Oct 2013 | Craig Wiseman24988 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing @Bill I'm fine with you acting as you feel appropriate... but I don't understand the demote. This idea is for Domino/Traveler, not Smartcloud. We can get cardDAV and calDAV in other on premises and cloud offerings, too, but that's not fodder for a demote (IMHO). |
15 Oct 2013 | Bill Malchisky12192 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing Good question, Mark. Sad that we have to even consider such things, but that is the world where many of us in the community are now located. |
15 Oct 2013 | Mark Demicoli10736 | Please extend WebDAV to include cardDAV and calDAV support for calendar syncing Craig: How did you do it? :P How long was the withdrawal and is there a DDA (Domino Developers Anonymous) group? |
