Preference to NOT have/use Inbox (01 Feb 2009)David, I understand where you are coming, but in the overall scope of things the option to remove the Inbox is not possible. This is why the Lotus developers have created the necessary tools to automagically remove the documents from the Inbox in an agreeable timefarme. |
Automatically guess the folder where to file an email (12 Feb 2008)Bruce, SwiftFile does this from the Inbox Folder only with e-mails you have received, but not newly composed e-mails you are sending and fileing. It would be a nice extensibility of the SwiftFile application, in addition to SwiftFile working from ANY folder NOT just the InBox. |
Allow URL links to be clicked in edit mode (12 Feb 2008)I'm voting yes with the provision that it's a Ctrl+Click option. As @2 mentions, if all you wanted to do is add/change a character, clicking on the URL will be a little problematic. |
Calendar invites sent to internet recipients need to work (16 Jan 2008)Larry, I'm curious to know why you don't think it's a good idea to fix the Notes C&S so that it works more seemlessly with non-Notes Clients and/or the web? |
Allow changing email address on our IdeaJam profile (16 Jan 2008)@3 - Ah OK, I understand now. Yes this would probably be a good idea. |
Allow changing email address on our IdeaJam profile (16 Jan 2008)Not sure I follow. If you are referring to the "Reply To:" address, you can do this now through your Location Doc. |
Correct the header info when sending to SMTP receipients (16 Jan 2008)Chris, I'm on R7, and it drives me nuts to have to cut this header information out, then paste it back as plain text, then fix the spacing and add the "From:" & "Sent:" info every single time I'm replying to an SMTP recipient. If it could magically just strip out the table and re-format the text when sending outbound SMTP mail there would be a lot of happy customers . . . and BPs . . . and IBMers. |
Creating URL link hotspot should be much easier (15 Jan 2008)Agree that this needs to be easier, and there are several great ideas here, but I can tell you that Notes is a lot easier than Outlook's usability for hotspots. |
Move HTML signature into mailfile (15 Jan 2008)@13 This should work the same as the mail letterhead graphic. Within the Users Notes Mailfile the graphic is only stored once, but displayed on all e-mails that it was identified with. So you can have multiple signatures (HTML or plain text), and within the Users Notes Mailfile it is only stored once, but displayed on the e-mails it was itdentified with. Make sense? |
Leave coffee out for longer than 15 minutes (15 Jan 2008)Just leave the darn thing out . . . i.e. don't put it away. This has been an issue for many moons, and I'm not sure why IBM hasn't laid down the law with the Disney-bots . . . maybe they can't control them? |
