QuickR application/widgets for Android/iPhone (23 May 2012)I promote this idea but it would be nice to have a full CMIS implementation into Quickr. That way you could use any CMIS client to get access to data stored in Quickr! @Luis: Any news on availability of a beta version? |
Prevent policy updates to be applied for specific location (04 Jan 2012)Stijn, I also understand the frustration but I do agree with Bill. I had 2 instances of Notes for years. One for personal use and one when visiting customers. Sinds customers are using Notes Policies (thank God they do) I'm using VitualBox and multiple VM's. As Bill already mentioned, this works very well. It has the advantage that you can make snapshots. Especially when you want to upgrade Notes or you want to deploy a new policy. You can test and revert back to the snapshot. |
Restrict access on multiple Quickr documents at once. (28 Dec 2011)But that's what they do today... A document will by default inherit it's security from a Place, a Room or a Folder ACL. I want to overrule the default ACL of a subset of documents stored in a folder. I don't want to modify the ACL of all documents in a folder. I have two problems with that: 1. The only way of doing it today is by editing the properties of every individual document. 2. I have to do it via the web interface, I cannot modify the ACL of a document via the Quickr connector. |
Quickr should fully support Mac clients (i.e. a Mac connector pack) (19 Dec 2011)I do agree that the availability of the Quickr connectors is a must if you want end-user adoption. One of the weak points is lack of an open standard to integrated with Quickr. IBM should incorporate CMIS into Quickr, if so you could use other vendors' CMIS clients or connectors to access data stored in Quickr. e.g. CMIS Connector for Adobe Drive. IBM itself could use this protocol to build an open 'Quickr' plugin to connect to Quickr and other CMIS Enterprise Document Management systems. In that case, you could access Quickr, FileNet or Alfresco directly from your Notes or Sametime Client. |
Bring Back Blank Screen with Screen Lock (19 Dec 2011)Totaly agree with Marie Scott. IBM is always emphasizing how secure Lotus Notes is, please fix this potential security hole. |
