Please follow the text properties (left and right indent) of the nearest row when appending or inserting rows in a Notes table.

Comment: with the added option of insert row above or below so that the attributes of the row above or below are used as they are not always the same (split/merged cells etc)

I would propose to use the properties of the first paragraph of the text.
