The idea is simple, When you are on the Lotus Notes workspace, dubleclick will bring up the file database open dialog.
Photoshop have had this for years and it is very nice when you get use to it.

I like this idea, particularly if when the icon does get added it ends up where you clicked, rather than in the first available empty spot.

I certainly like the idea of it being pegged in the position you double clicked. That would save me trying to find the blinking thing. Perhaps I have too many dbs on my workspace...
Double clicking a day on calendar opens a new calendar form, double clicking a doc opens it. This idea isnt too far a departure from that is it!

I really like that idea! Of course, this should also work if an empty region is clicked in bookmark folders, especially when displayed as workspace (I got rid of the old-style workspace years ago ;-)).

I like it, but r-click presents an option to "Open Application" on the pop-up menu. Perhaps that is the sudden tide against??
