When a web form contains a field with an errant formula, Domino HTTP spits out the error text with no reference to the field that threw the error. Simply mentioning the field name would be very useful and save a lot of process-of-elimination time to find the rogue formula.

Unfortunately this is a general 'feature' of Lotus Notes/Domino - not quite helpfull error messages.

This should be controlled by notes.ini variable (and enabled on development/test servers only).

Agreed on enabling on test servers... how often have you hit a malformed non-Domino app that spews it's database guts at you revealing a lot more of the design than the owners would be comfortable with...
I wouldn't want a denial-of-service attack against my server just because someone sees how to break it from error data that it returns, so I would want to control how it handles it.
Another option would be an httperrorslog.nsf database which could capture all the errors - just give a serial number to the user on the browser and a "click to email to webmaster" option, and allow me to interrogate the error in a comprehensive log file.
