Even without using this feature daily in Gmail....this functionality should be in there since the inception of personal mail rules. GiddeUp!

I suppose you coule use this while using Outlook and access Notes mail via iMap :)

Any updates on this? There are a number of scenarios that I want to restrict access specifically to contacts.

Please make this simple feature work.... this is about as frustrating as anything a user who actually WANTS to live in Notes will experience.

UODATE:
I met with IBM Developer in the Dev lab and he investigated. This menu option is determined by the client code and not the template. He fired up Visual Studio and compared the code for this menu between 6.5.6 and 8.0. The code was identical.

However, he did show that the code that determines if the menu item appears or is grayed out....is dependant on the Body of the message containing HTML.

We noticed that on the mail message that was not working as expected...there was no HTML ..rather Rich Text. Presumably a result of a server setting.

I explained that this function is frequently used for troublshooting or fighting SPAM. We spoke of a possible solution whereas the option is available to ALL SMTP messages in addition to NRPC based messages that contain HTML.
